Why it's worth a look
- Keeps a fridge-freezer, router, two lamps and phones going for about 25 hours in a power cut.
- battery rated for 3,000 cycles: over 57 years of weekly use.
- Takes up to 1,000 W of solar, so it can refill in a long cut or off-grid.
- Expandable to 6,144 Wh with extra batteries.
- 5-year warranty.
Watch out for
- Sold out at every seller we checked.
- Can't boil a 3 kW kettle (2,400 W output).
- No published UPS switch-over time, so it may not keep a computer or CPAP running through a power cut.
- Heavy at 23 kg: think about who will move it.
